"WHERE NIGHTMARES COME ALIVE"
~ Short Film Competition ~

Universal Studios Hollywood invites filmmakers to imagine "Where Nightmares Come Alive" for a short film competition that will invade the entertainment capital of L.A, to coincide with the launch of October's annual Halloween Horror Nights event.

Selected film shorts will be judged by horror industry veterans - including director ELI ROTH (Hostel), actor BILL MOSELEY (The Devil's Rejects), and writer/director DON MANCINI (Child's Play) - based on suspense, relevance to theme and overall chill factor.

Visit this site between September 10 – 22 and vote for your favorite of the top 10 selected film shorts.

> Hurry! To submit short film entries, the deadline is September 3, 2008.

The winning film will be announced on September 25, and the winner will be invited to come to the Halloween Horror Nights opening night "Eyegore Awards" ceremony in the company of celebrities, studio executives and media - and also receive 4 tickets to Halloween Horror Nights and $1,000 cash!
