Best Buy, in co-sponsoring this summer's "Certifiable" reunion tour by THE POLICE, has announced a November DVD and Blu-ray release of the band's Certifiable: Live in Buenos Aires concert, for sale exclusively thru the large electronics retailer.

Filmed in high-definition, the collector's sets are now available for pre-order, and will street this Tuesday, November 11, each packaged with bonus CDs.

Best Buy offers the following editions, at a discounted price:

THE POLICE opened their Reunion Tour in Vancouver on May 28, 2007 in front of 22,000 fans at one of two nearly sold-out concerts. In October 2007 the group played the largest gig of the reunion tour (so far) in Dublin, Ireland, in front of 82,000 fans.

The Police continued their reunion tour in 2008, with locations including New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Macau, Japan, Canada, USA, France, Germany, Norway, Denmark, UK, Serbia, Poland, Argentina and Brazil, where they played for 75,000 people.

In February 2008, The Police announced that once they are finished touring they will break up again. According to lead vocalist Sting, "There will be no new album, no big new tour, once we're done with our reunion tour, that's it for the Police".

On May 5th, 2008 The Police announced their final show will be played in New York City at Madison Square Garden on August 7th 2008. The B-52's are opening that show. Proceeds will go toward arts programming for the city's public television stations. The group made the announcement while donating $1 million to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's initiative to plant 1 million trees in the city by 2017.

The Police and Best Buy recently announced (Aug 4) they will release a collector's set entitled "The Police: Certifiable," which includes an entire concert recorded live in Buenos Aires, Argentina (from the tour), and can be purchased in the following packages: 2DVD/2CD, 1 Blu-Ray Disc/2CD, and (for vinyl fans), 3 premium 180-gram vinyl LPs with MP3 file key.

"Certifiable: Live in Buenos Aires" includes bonus footage, including a documentary shot by Stewart's son Jordan entitled "Better Than Therapy." The release date is November 11, 2008, thru Best Buy stores or the online site (link below). Track listings, video clips, and more are now available on Best Buy.com.
