Yesterday, A&E released "election update" editions of "Biography: John McCain" and "Biography: Barack Obama." The popular series tries to offer accurate and fair biographies of the world´s most influential and interesting public figures.

"Biography: Barack Obama" follows one man´s meteoric rise from fledgling politician to captivating leader. Before he drew the public´s attention, Obama was the first African-American editor of the Harvard Law Review, a best-selling author, and the third African-American ever elected to Senate. In childhood, Obama was raised by his white American mother after his black Kenyan father returned to his country to work for its improvement, and Obama credits his grandmother as well for helping him learn the values that drive him today.
