"First, there was the rousing Iron Man. Now Marvel Entertainment brings the exhilarating The Incredible Hulk."
-Vince Horiuchi, The Salt Lake Tribune
Universal Home Entertainment has just released full details and specs for the upcoming DVD (and BD) editions of this past summer's new version of THE INCREDIBLE HULK, starring Edward Norton.
Be sure to click the release details below for the full info - available October 21 - which includes seperate single disc DVD editions (in Widescreen and Full-screen), 3-disc Widescreen DVD Special Edition (w/Digital Copy 3rd disc), and a 2-disc Widescreen Blu-ray Hi-Def Special Edition (Digital Copy 2nd disc).
Note that the Blu-ray edition also features 3-D Collectible Packaging (limited time only).
Film Synopsis:
Academy Award nominee Edward Norton stars as scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, a man who has been living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote to the unbridled force of rage within him: the HULK. But when the military masterminds who dream of exploiting his powers force him back to civilization, he finds himself coming face to face with his most formidable fee: the ABOMINATION - a nightmarish beast of pure aggression whose powers match the Hulk's own!
Also starring Liv Tyler, Oscar nominee Tim Roth, and Oscar winner William Hurt, The Incredible Hulk is "steeped in action and spectacular special effects" (Claudia Puig, USA Today), and delivers a mind-blowing final showdown that only be summed up with one word... INCREDIBLE!

Lame cover art. I'm not impressed with Iron Man's either.
These look anything but professional.

Should've used the original poster art. Norton walking with the Hulk silhouette behind him. This is just...ugly.

Don't worry Jason - you know they'll probably be using -that- cover art you suggested for the inevitable "Director's Cut" or "Ultimate Collector's Edition" later.
Here's the image Jason speaks of (from his theatrical review earlier this summer)...

-JOE- (Love Hendrix!)

Yup, that's exactly what I'm talking about, Joe. That's actually a very good looking poster. The cover is...video gamey, pandering almost.
And Eddie, we know you have a hard on for Iron Man.
Jason, not creative

I don't hate Iron Man, Eddie. You know that. Nor do I hate you.
