Paramount Home Entertainment will release "The Love Guru" on DVD & Blu-ray this September 16th. The latest character creation from comedic genius Mike Myers. The film stars Myers, Jessica Alba, Romany Malco, Verne Troyer, Justin Timberlake, and Ben Kingsley.
Extras will include: "Mike Myers and The Love Guru - An Inside Look," 3 featurettes (One Hellava Elephant, Hockey Training for Actors, Back In The Booth With Trent and Jay),
11 Deleted Scenes including an Alternate Ending, "Bloopers," "Outtakes & More," a "Theatrical Trailer," and a "Digital Copy" (2-Disc exclusive).
The Blu-ray edition will include all of the above presented in HD.
Synopsis:
A hilarious comedy starring Mike Myers as guru Pitka in his first original character since the blockbuster hit Austin Powers. Myers plays an American raised in India by gurus (Tugginmypudha & Satchabigknoba) and returns to the U.S. in order to break into the self-help business. His unorthodox methods are put to the test when he must settle the romantic troubles and subsequent professional skid of a star hockey player (Romany Malco), whose wife left him for a rival athlete Jacques Grande (Justin Timberlake). Mini Me is back from Austin Powers and plays the hockey coach for more classic comedic moments that will have audiences laughing from opening to closing credits.

I saw this yesterday...yep...
OK, technically, the movie is pretty good the pacing, the cinematography, the acting, the editing, the effects...Jessica Alba actually looks like a good actress and Justin seems like he is trying too hard...
However, been there, seen that...the jokes kinda tend to fall flat (not all the times), or they are just not that funny. Don't get me wrong, you laugh, but not as you would expect from Myers.
The movie is entertaining, it makes sense, is well acted, but the jokes are not that big. A good 3/5.
